I stayed for 5 nights, primarily to explore the nearby attractions like the National Palace of Culture and the Ivan Vazov National Theater. The room I had, while unrenovated, was interesting as it reflected a certain vintage charm, though parts of it definitely needed more attention. I appreciated the convenient access to places like the Central Sofia Market Hall, which was just a short walk away. The atmosphere around the hotel was lively due to its close proximity to local sights.

View from the window
It was cold in the room.

The room I had was a stark throwback to the 1970s, complete with outdated furniture and signs of poor maintenance, including peeling wallpaper and a musty smell. The air conditioning didn't work, and carpets were stained, not to mention the weak Wi-Fi signal. I encountered disruptive noise from a high school field trip staying on the same floor.

Truly enjoyed this low-budget hotel: good food and very very helpful staff. The rooms were a nice size with balcony and the beds were comfy. Had a huge variety of options for breakfast, it was very good.

The location was ideal, right in the city center, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and amazing views of Vitosha Mountain. My renovated room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
Some noise from the pub downstairs.
